Senior Software Engineer · Dhaka, Bangladesh
I take problems from a requirement to a released product.
I write the spec, design the experience, and build whichever layer the problem needs — web apps, .NET and Node services, or native desktop tools in Rust. Nearly seven years in, I care less about which stack and more about whether the thing actually helps the people using it.
01 — work
I don't stay in one lane. I follow a problem wherever it goes — from the first conversation about what's needed, through design, to the code and the release pipeline that ships it.
Turning a fuzzy ask into PRDs, decision logs, ADRs and testable specs, so the team builds the right thing once.
Mapping flows and roles, then proving them with clickable prototypes and themeable design systems before code.
Large, data-heavy apps with shared component libraries, multi-library architecture and real-time updates.
APIs and modular backends with clear contracts, sensible module boundaries and a single source of truth.
Native apps and tooling that make other engineers faster — from Rust desktop apps to CLIs and editor extensions.
Release pipelines, signed auto-updates, CI that catches drift, and AI agents wired into everyday workflows.
02 — projects
A workspace for engineers who juggle many repositories at once. Run and link apps and libraries, switch environments, open branches and merge requests across every repo, and keep real terminals, scripts, snippets and notes in one window.
Defined a new point-of-sale for small counter-service restaurants from the ground up: the product requirements, the access model, the app flow, and a clickable prototype people could actually tap through.
Audited a portfolio of 40+ repositories serving several businesses, found the same capabilities rebuilt many times over, and laid out a phased path to a shared core.
Native macOS app
2026
A lightweight, native dev dashboard — explorer, embedded terminal with split panes, session tabs, a merge-request board and a menu-bar tray. The precursor to Orbit.
CLI
2026
Runs a chain of dependent GitLab merge requests in order — waits for pipelines, merges, bumps downstream package versions, pushes and moves on. Resumable and parallel.
VS Code extension
2025
Run, stop and restart apps; build, watch and link libraries in parallel; and save custom commands — all from the editor sidebar.
Template
2024–26
A production-ready Angular starter I keep current: Nx libraries, Material + Tailwind, Vitest, Docker, lint and commit hooks, plus ready-made toasts, panels, guards and real-time helpers.
Data pipeline
2026
Scrapes ~300 Dhaka Stock Exchange listings, applies long-term fundamental rules and produces a ranked, explainable Excel workbook.
Raycast extension
2026
Menu-bar view of remaining GitHub Copilot quota, broken down by category, with the reset date.
Machine learning
2019
Detects handwritten maths from a photo with a CNN, solves it, and keeps a history of uploads and results.
